Simon Van Damme

Simon Van Damme has a Master of Science in Information Technology (IT) with a specialization in Information Sytems Auditing. He is passionate about all aspects of information security and is consequently active in his professional life as Director IT Assurance & Compliance at Figurad bedrijfsrevisoren. He holds various certificates in audit and cybersecurity (CISA, Cybersecurity audit certificate, CSX advanced exploitation, etc.).

In addition, he is owner of his own company, Van Damme IT assurance, where he provides advice and training for a limited number of customers on the security and reliability of information systems.

His primary interests are cryptography, embedded systems, information system assurance, pen testing, malware, software security and GDPR.
