How to audit BCM: virtual sessions

Event dates: 06 Dec 2022, 13 Dec 2022

The ISO 22301:2019 Security and resilience – Business continuity management systems – requirements standard specifies the structure and requirements for implementing and maintaining a business continuity management system (BCMS) that develops business continuity appropriate to the amount and type of impact that the organization may or may not accept following a disruption. This helps organizations to operate and maintain processes, capabilities, and response structures for ensuring the organization will survive disruptions and provide assurance to their interested parties. It structures its continual improvement of business continuity performance, ensures fulfilment of any legal and other requirements, and supports the achievement of its business continuity objectives.

An internal audit programme is one of the assurance processes within an effective BCMS.

By attending this training, participants will benefit by learning about and developing skills regarding the content of a BCMS and specific internal audit elements necessary to conduct effective audits.
