About the event

In all layers of an organisation digitalisation has the potential to increase efficiency and boost the quality of daily activities. However, the journey to embrace digitisation within internal audit functions is filed with challenges. Not only must internal auditors adapt to new digital tools (like AI) and methodologies, but they also face the tough task of auditing increasingly complex digital solutions.

Hence, join us during the IIA Young professionals event on 22th October 2024 at 18:00 at the PwC Brussels Office, where Vincent Gaukema (PwC Director) and Thomas Plancke (PwC Senior Associate) will delve into two critical facets of modern auditing:

  • Auditing the Digital (and AI)
  • Digital Auditing

This session will explore potential methodologies and tools for auditing digital systems and processes, including AI systems, ensuring compliance, security, and efficiency in an increasingly digital landscape. Additionally, it will highlight the possibilities for IA to leverage from the most advanced technologies to boost the efficiency and quality of the audit activities.
