Speaker

Maarten Van Knippenberg

Maarten worked as a partner in a Belgian law firm specialized in business law. Afterwards he was involved in audits and fraud inspections of various private companies and government institutions. For more than 15 years he specialized in conducting in depth forensic audits and external fraud investigations. While working for the Federal parliament (Center for Integrity) he was strongly involved as expert with the implementation of the Whistleblowing Directive. Since 2023, he supports Grant Thornton Belgium with setting up whistleblowing channels for government institutions and private organizations and conducting forensic investigations.
