Updated CRMA Program
Following extensive market research, including a global job analysis study, The IIA is pleased to inform you that the Certification in Risk Management Assurance® (CRMA®) exam will be relaunched beginning with an updated application available on 1 April 2021.
The program has been updated to reflect the in-depth organizational knowledge and advanced skill sets required to succeed in risk management assurance. It is also now positioned as a career pathway for internal auditors after they have achieved the Certified Internal Auditor® (CIA®) designation. To accomplish this, key changes have been made to the CRMA exam that include:
- All questions are now at proficient level.
- Advanced question formats.
- Extended seat time for the exam.
Following the CRMA beta test, the new CRMA exam will officially launch on 1 October 2021.
The IIA Bookstore will soon release the new CRMA Exam Study Guide and Practice Questions, 2nd Edition, the comprehensive review material candidates need to prepare for the Certification in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA) exam.
